Even upper elementary and middle school students occasionally find themselves silently singing the “ABC Song” in order to remember where a certain letter is when alphabetizing. Maybe they’re trying to find a book in the library or their name in a crate of files. They would never tell you, but their hesitation is often embarrassing to them. Playing these fun games when there is extra time at the end of class or an activity is a good way to help them practice this skill without them feeling silly. Instructions are included at the end of each card set for the partner card games "Slap It" and "War" which focus on quickly choosing the letter which comes latest in the alphabet.
-The "X" cards display the word "fox" with the x underlined.
