Practice letter and sound recognition with these colorful alphabet cards. They are in a Spring Picnic theme.
I love how these cards fit perfectly in a literacy center. I use them in several ways. Since I've included several variations of both the upper and lower case letters there is lots of opportunity for mixing and matching and changing up the fun each time you play. There are three sets of upper case, three sets of lower case, and one set of beginning sound picture cards. Check out the preview to see what they all look like!
Beginning level students can match upper case to upper case letter cards. Or, lower case to lower case cards.
Middle level students can match upper case to lower case cards. Again, there are several different sets of card backgrounds, so the games never get old.
More advanced students can match all three cards! Upper case, lower case, and find the beginning sound of the picture card.
Students can also practice putting the cards in order. Or lay them out on the carpet or table in order. Remove some of the cards. They can find the missing letter and put it in the correct spot.
There are so many things you can do with a set of alphabet cards! I hope you enjoy these as much as my kids have.
