These alphabet cards are perfect for word work practice during centers, practice with letter/sound recognition, etc. I have even sent them home with kiddos to practice as homework. I just copy a set for each of my students and attach them with a book ring. They have two rings of letters. One ring is a review ring (letters they have mastered) and the other ring is a practice ring (letters we haven't mastered yet). Once they have mastered the letter, it moves over to the review ring. I copy these on card stock and add a card on the front with the students name.
I keep them in a tub and whenever a volunteer or an older student comes down and wants to help, they can pull out the rings and know exactly what each child needs to work on.
***NOTE: Make sure you have a color printer to print these cards. They will not look right if you want to run them through your copier at school. The colored ones will look faded.
