I have used the "Apple Apple Aaa Song" by Barbara Milne for 17 years to teach beginning letter sounds to my class. This song really helps the children learn their sounds quickly. Check out the
"Sounds Like Learning" CD by Barbara Milne or see it on YouTube by Clicking Here.
I developed the Alphabet Chart and ABC Tracing Cards to match the picture clues in the song. Your students will love using the chart as a reference when writing and practicing their sounds. Students who are learning their sounds can use the tracing cards to finger trace the letter while they are listening to the song. Research proves that this is a great reinforcing activity that helps students learn their sounds.
The combination of these two tools will help your students master their phonics while having fun at the same time.
This product contains 14 pages. Page 1 is the full alphabet with the matching characters on a single sheet. Pages 2 - 14 contain the 26 letters of the alphabet with the matching characters, 2 to each page. These are used for the student to finger trace the letter while listening to the song.
See the preview to view all 14 pages.
All of the letters in this product appear in the D'nealian format. If you prefer, this same product is available in the Manuscript font by Clicking Here.
