Description

This free Alphabet and Word Word packet includes the following charts:

★ Basic Alphabet Linking Chart

★ Alphabet Linking Chart including Digraphs

★ Long and Short Vowel Sound Chart

★ Chart of 50 Words with Common Short Vowel Patterns

★ Chart of 50 Words with Long Vowel/Silent E Pattern

★ Chart of 50 Words with Common Long Vowel Teams

★ Chart of 25 Words that End with -ll

★ Chart of 25 Words that End with -ck

These charts are handy for choral reading and partner work. I also like to use them as personal word walls to help students find and use common spelling patterns while they are writing.

Though these pictures are offered in color, they do print well in black and white.

I send these charts home with students after introducing them in class. Parents often comment that the consistent format makes it easy to support their child's learning at home.

Many thanks for stopping by!

Sincerely, Anne Gardner (NBCT, Literacy)
