This game teaches children matching uppercase and lowercase letters. It can also be used as an assessment for either the ability to match upper and lower case letters or knowledge of letter-sound correspondence.
Children are given a set of broken "egg" halves with an uppercase letter on them. Then they are asked to find another broken egg half with the matching lowercase letter on it.
If working with one child at a time, you could ask the child the sound of the letter as he matches each one to assess letter-sound correspondence.
There are two different fonts included for the letters 'a' and 'g'.
