Kinders love interactive activities, and these flippers are super easy to use! Just print out and copy back-to-back. Students just fold in half, cut on the dotted line, and complete!
There is one alphabet flipper for each letter of the alphabet.
Each flipper asks students to write the letter (upper and lower case), write a word that starts with that letter two times, and draw a picture for that word. You could have students come up with their own word, you could choose a word as a class, or you could write a word on the top line before copying and students could then copy your word.
The last flap allows you as a teacher to do a quick assessment to see if your students can correctly make that letter sound. It has three spots to check to see if they can correctly make the sound. You can mark whether or not they get the sound with a check or color green if they get it, yellow if they’re unsure, and red if they do not know the sound.
These flippers are GREAT for interactive notebooks, as stand alone flippers as you teach each letter, or use construction paper to make an alphabet book! The possibilities are endless!
