A4 size (each page contains 6 cards)
This set contains 26 alphabet picture cards, and 26 alphabet word cards (that match the pictures) + 2 BOOM! cards.
I recommend printing these cards on card-stock.
There are always many games you can play with 'Go Fsh' cards.
How to Play:
Shuffle the cards. (no boom cards)
Deal 5 cards to each player.
Put the rest of the cards in a stack or spread them face down.
Players take turns asking each other for cards
'Do you have an apple?' ' Do you have a queen?' etc
If the asked player has the card they say 'Yes, I do.' and give the card to the player. When a player doesn't have the card they reply 'No, I don't. Go Fish!'
The current player draws a card from the pile.
If a player gets a match their turn continues until they don't get a match.
The game finishes when there are no cards left and all matches have been made.
The player with the most pairs wins.
Memory / Concentration
You can also shuffle the cards lay them out face down and play memory (concentration).
How to play:
Shuffle all the cards including the Boom! cards.
Place them in a pile face down
Players take a card from the top of the stack and read the word or say what the picture is.
If a player gets a boom card down they lose all their cards.
The drawn boom card is discarded.
The winner is the player with the most cards.
Nervous (+ Boom Cards)
How to play:
Shuffle all the cards.
Remove one card from the deck.
Deal the rest out to every player.
No one can look at their cards.
The stay face down on the table (or wherever your playing.)
The card you removed in the beginning is the 'keyword'
place it face up so everyone can see.
Players take a card from the top of their stack and read the word or say what the picture is.
If it is a boom card they get all the cards in the center pile, and they start the next round.
If the keyword is played, all players have to touch it.
The last player to touch it gets all the cards in the pile, and a new 'keyword card is taken from their or the teacher's/parent's pile.
If a player or players have run out of cards to discard they are still in the game,
they have to watch out for the 'keyword'.
If the 'keyword' card is drawn and they touch it in time, then they have cleared the game.
The winner or winners are players with no cards.
