Alphabet ice creams beginning sounds center for preschool, pre-K and Kindergarten.
Includes:
• 26 cones, each labeled with an upper and lower case letter (full alphabet)
• 3 scoops of ice cream for each letter, with pictures of items that begin with that letter ( scoops). The 3 scoops for any particular letter have the same ice cream flavor/color, to give a clue to early learners.
• 26 b/w ice cream scoops, each with an upper case letter to trace.
• 4 b/w cones.
Some Ideas to Use:
• Small group – use when teaching or reviewing initial letter sounds – use one cone and its scoops to demonstrate, or 2 cones and their scoops to differentiate the letters and sounds, and to sort.
• Center – set out 2 or 3 cones and their scoops to match and sort for beginners, more for later learners.
• Use b/w tracing scoops to practice writing letters; stack above one cone to see how high it can go. Or offer tracing scoops to be added to 3-scoop initial sound cones in a center.
