Looking to assign some practice problems for you students in order to reinforce using latitude and longitude? If so, this is the product for you!
Included is three different versions of the same activity for differentiated learning in any classroom.
In one version, student are given latitude and longitude coordinates of a city, but they must find the name of the city using an atlas, textbook, or the internet. Their is one major city for each letter of the alphabet.
In the next version, students are given the city name, but they must find the coordinates. In this version, lines of latitude are pre-labeled north and south, and lines of longitude are pre-labeled east and west. This version will be great for younger students or those who need a bit more guidance.
And in the last version, students are given the name of the city but they must find both the lines of latitude and longitude along with the hemispheric direction.

As an added bonus, an EXCELLENT review game is attached. This game is similar to the board game Battleship, but students will use latitude and longitude coordinates to try to sink each others ships.
