Alphabet Letter Matching - Fun Letter Recognition Printable
This cute little resource is perfect for developing letter recognition in young children.
Simply print, cut and laminate then use as a simple letter matching game.
For younger children, you may like to select only a few letters at a time and go on an alphabet treasure hunt for each letter they match.
During this activity, talk about the SOUNDS they make and the NAME of the letters. Talk about where you may find a capital and what the difference is between upper and lower case letters.
Older or more advanced children may enjoy the challenge of trying to sort the entire puzzle into alphabetical order.
For a little more fun, you could add a magnetic strip to the back of each letter and use with empty baking trays or at home on the fridge.
This activity is great for: home school, parents, toddlers, child care, day care, kindergarten, prep, pre-k, kinder and first grade / year one.
