Google Drive Alphabet Letter Sort Activity!
Check out this Early Literacy activity for students ages Kindergarten, first grade or students needing remediation in Response to Intervention of special education! Students can learn the alphabet on their iPads, tablets, or on your school laptops! Students can even access this on an ipod or their cell phone. Because it’s on Google Drive, this works for iPhones as well as Android devices.
This is a letter sort activity that builds on itself. In the Google Drive folder, you will find an instructional video that will explain how to access this file.
Inside the alphabet sort digital file you will also find a video for instructions on Teacher usage of this product and a video that you can share with your students.
Each letter of the alphabet has it’s on folder. For letter A there are a few sorting activities, and then when you access letter B, you will find the letter A contents with letter B contents added to it. Letter Z has all of the letters in that file.
The videos explain how you can change the font to your preferred font.
I would recommend projecting this onto a SMART or Promethean board to show students how to complete the activity and then let them do the alphabet sorts on their own later. They can take screenshots and share it with you to demonstrate that they understand the content.
