This is a alphabet letter sorting, letter matching, or beginning sounds activity. Print on card stock, laminate, cut, and you are ready to use. Great activity for literacy centers or finished work. There are so many different ways to use this activity. Have students sort the candy letters by tall letters, letters in their name, sort by upper and lower case, or have them match the candy letter to the picture in on the candy jar. Lots of fun ways to have your students work with letters!! Write the matching letter on the back of the candy jar for self checking. This comes with 3 different worksheets. One worksheet students cut and paste to match the upper case letter to the lower case letter. Another worksheet has students cut and paste to match the letter to the pictures beginning sound. Another worksheet allows students to sort short and tall letters by cutting them out and pasting in the correct column! This activity addresses Kindergarten and 1st grade common core standards.
