Alphabet Letters: Engineering Challenge Project ~ Great STEM Activity!

Engineering Challenge:

Can you make a free-standing 3D letter of the alphabet using found and craft materials?

Materials Needed: (per team of four students)

An assortment of found materials (empty toilet paper rolls, empty bottles and caps, cardboard boxes, bamboo skewers, etc.)
Popsicle sticks
Tape and scissors
Tempera paints

This packet contains all the information you need to make this a great engineering activity in your classroom! Lab sheets, student and teacher instructions, and challenge signs are all included! Using simple and cheap materials, you can engage your students in the engineering process!
