These positive and unique reward tags were created to encourage and motivate young students to learn the letters of the alphabet and reward their efforts.

Each of the tags / rewards are unique so that students receive something different and special for each letter learned which keeps them enthusiastic and excited about their learning.

The tags were created to appeal to young children and also give them a visual reminder for each letter. Each reward tag has a praise word that begins with the alphabet letter along with a 'You learned letter ____!" cheer. Each tag also has cute pictures of objects or animals which begin with the letter so that students can associate the letter with its beginning sound.

My students loved receiving these tags / rewards and couldn’t wait to see what each one said. In fact, they would oftentimes try to guess what the praise word and pictures were going to be prior to receiving their tag (which was a great review of the letter sound!). They were a great incentive that both celebrated and encouraged their mastery of the alphabet.

These alphabet tags can be used in multiple ways. Students can collect each individual tag on necklaces, in books (included), or as individual rewards that are taken home (great way to keep parents informed of progress).

The alphabet tag book gives students a nice keepsake of their accomplishments and can also be used for reference throughout the year. It also provides a less public way for you and your students to keep track of their progress. Students glue a tag on each page as they are earned and can write the letter, words that begin with the letter, or a sentence underneath (depending on the student's ability level).

You receive:

• 28 unique alphabet letter reward tags (letters A & O have 2 options) that maintain student interest and are visual reminders of the letter and its sound

• 2 reward tags for mastering all the letters - "Congrats! You learned ALL the letters!" and "Hooray! I know ALL my letters!"

• 2 alphabet book cover options plus a blank cover title option so that you can choose a title that fits your needs

• printable inside book pages for students to keep track of their progress and create a keepsake or reference book

• individual pages for each letter for printing multiple tags at once for classroom use PLUS pages with multiple letters all on one page for homeschool use or for using with a few students.

Learning 26 letters and their sounds can be a daunting task for a young child. Using these individual reward tags will encourage and praise their efforts each step of the way, make it a positive learning experience, and give them a visual reward of all they have accomplished.

I have found that receiving something special to celebrate their efforts (especially if they have been struggling) can energize a student's desire to learn more, rekindle enthusiasm about learning the alphabet, and restore their confidence and commitment.
