Alphabet Match - Russian Nesting Dolls
*** Please NOTE ***
This unit is included in my Introducing the Alphabet BUNDLE
. Please do not purchase this unit if you have already purchased the bundle.
About this book:
Add some culture to your classroom and practice lowercase to uppercase letter matching at the same time with these adorable Russian Nesting Dolls (Matryoshka or Babushka dolls)! I have included a set of cut and paste worksheets which you can use together with the Russian dolls as a follow-up worksheet or recording sheet, or they can be used independently too.
Directions for use:
Print all the pages and laminate for durability. Cut out the doll shape, then cut each doll in half along the horizontal line to separate the upper case letter from the lower case letter. Store all pieces in a zip lock bag.
The objective of this activity is to match the lower case letters of the alphabet to the correct upper case letter.
* Please note: When printing and photocopying the worksheet, make sure to print the worksheet (with the upper case doll letters) double-sided. The last page (with the lowercase letters) will need to be printed and photocopied as is, then cut in half; each child gets one half when doing the worksheet.
Happy Teaching :)
