This is in my Fall Product Bundle you can check out HERE
This is a great way to work on Alphabet awareness with your students. It is great for interventions or small group, and then easy to slip into a center for independent practice. A practice sheet is included to be done after they finish the center.
How to play:
Turn all (or some if you are just starting with this skill) of the cards face down on a table or the floor. Take turns turning over two cards to see if they match. If they match you get to keep the match, and go again. Winner at the end of the game has the most matches.
Alternative: If your students are just learning letters, you could print two sets of capital letters and two sets of lower case letters and have them just match the letters that are the same. For example capital A to capital A. I would use no more than 10 cards total when first starting. Trying to decide what letters to start with? Start with letters in the child’s name.
