I created these mini-books to help my students practice writing or tracing each of the 26 alphabet letters and practice hearing the sound that each letter makes with some association words. For example: A is for alligator, apple, ant, acorn, and anchor. I prepare these mini-books for my students for the first day we are introducing a new letter of the week and we read them together before practicing writing or tracing the letter on each page. Oftentimes, my students will ask to color their booklets at playtime or if they finish before their peers! Then, we encourage our students to read their mini-books to their parents when they get home!
After printing on your choice of white or colored paper, slice along the lines to separate the mini-book's pages. Then, staple together in the order of your choosing to create a booklet for each of your students to write or trace their letters (depending on ability level).
