In the Alphabet Parade, each student is assigned a letter.

They get to decorate a vest based on their assigned letter. We used paper bags from the grocery and cut them to look like vests.

The students will color their letter, and glue it to their vest. We had our students glue it to the back of their vest.

The students will then color pictures that start with their assigned letter, cut them out, and glue them to their vest. We glued their pictures to the front of the vest.

Once the vests are completed, the students put them on and get ready to “parade” down the hallway.

We had every classroom sit in the hallway and watch our parade.

To make it more fun for the kindergartens, we had the other classrooms cheering and clapping loudly for them as they paraded by. We also had the “ABC, 123” song playing on the intercom.

There is also an editable flyer included that you can send out to staff members letting them know about the parade!
