These Phonics Dictionary Pages are perfect to use weekly, especially if you celebrate a letter a week. After introducing each letter sound, use the Phonics Dictionary Pages to have your students draw or glue the included pictures that begin with each sound.
The pictures are labeled so students can copy the label on the lines at the bottom of each picture frame on the Dictionary Pages.
Or use the colored pictures cards to create sets of initial sound pictures for each group of 4-5 students. I keep a set of picture cards for each group in a sandwich size Zip-lock bag.
Or Uuse one set of the Colored Picture Cards and glue them to the colored Phonics Dictionary Pages to create a sample for each letter of the alphabet that you can use year after year.
Or use the Colored Picture Cards to create a center where students sort them onto the Phonics Dictionary Pages.
Remember to keep the FUN in the FUNdamentals! :) And please leave us feedback for extra credits from T.P.T.
