  • 27 full-color alphabet mats
  • 27 black and white alphabet mats
  • Color and Black and White Versions Included!

Each alphabet mat contains the following five sections:

Alphabet Square - Children can finger trace the large letters or they can place a coil of play dough, waxed yarn, or small objects on top of the letter. Children can also color the letter.

Uppercase Alphabet Line - Children can search for and circle the focus letter among the other letters in the alphabet.

Initial Sound Examples - Children can review the objects pictured, say the name of the objects, practice the sound that is associated with the focus letter, search for the letter in each word, and/or circle the letter in each word. If you are using the black and white activity sheets, children can color the pictures.

Writing Practice - Children can trace the dotted letters and write the letters on the lines.

Lowercase Alphabet Line - Children can search for and circle the focus letter among the other letters in the alphabet.

Easy Prep!

The mats can be laminated so that you can use them over and over again. The black and white mats can be used as worksheets or take-home activities.
