Each poster features the capital and lowercase letter of the alphabet, a beginning letter sound picture, and the name of the featured picture written out.

Each vowel has a poster for the long and short vowel sound.

The letter S has an additional card to demonstrate when s sounds like a/ z/.

There are several letters that feature more than one poster associated with the letter to allow you to select either:

•the vocabulary word that is preferred

•a more masculine or a more feminine photograph or color palette to best represent the demographics of your classroom
