Learning the entire alphabet and the sound each letter makes can be challenging, especially for students entering Kindergarten without prior background knowledge from preschool programs. This is a simple, yet effective resource to help you accomplish this with your struggling learners!
Simply print the puzzles on heavy cardstock, then laminate and cut for a quick and easy center or intervention resource. I highly recommend using the 5 mil laminate sheets, as this will help your puzzles to hold up to the frequent use they will likely receive during the year.
I introduce this type of resource during my small group instruction time. I like to introduce new learning materials to no more than 3 students at a time. This is an awesome resource that can be used to reinforce each letter of the alphabet. It can also be used to teach and reinforce phonics and phonemic awareness principals as well.
I included two different sets of the puzzles. Each set includes the same pictures. One set has a single picture across both puzzle pieces, while the second set has the same picture placed on each piece of the puzzle. You get to choose which set you prefer to use with your sweet angels! I also included a couple of different options for the letters C and Y.
