Did you know that all patchwork quilts can be made using only three geometric shapes? In this activity, your students will use those same three shapes (squares, triangles and rectangles) to build both upper– and lower-case letters of the alphabet on a number grid. Letters Aa-Mm are completed on a grid of 1-70, while the letters Nn-Zz are on a grid of 30-100.
There are three tiers of instruction to allow for differentiation.
Included in this packet are:
1) Numeral Calling Cards (1-100)
2) Teacher Calling Sequence Key for each letter
3) Student Pages
4) Answer Key for each letter
