With computers, iPads and other electronic devices so prevalent in todays society I often find that children are exposed to various kinds of font at a young age. Some of these fonts are not easy to read. I made this activity to help children begin to recognize each letter of the alphabet in many different fonts. I organized the letters into groups based on the Fundations program by Wilson. This activity has children cutting and pasting, or sorting the various letters of the alphabet onto charts. This would make a good assessment to see if your students have mastered recognizing the various letters of the alphabet. I've created both lower case and upper case worksheets. I also created sheets that focus on B-D and P-Q as young children often confuse these sets of letters. These activities can be done in school during learning centers or sent home as homework.
I can customize this activity to follow your schools phonics program, just send me an email with the order of the letters and the groupings you would like email@example.com
