A perfect reinforcement activity for your phonics lesson! Each page features a large outline of each capital alphabet letter. Each outline is filled with an object that starts with the same letter sound. Students practice fine-motor skills as they color the objects, and they practice simple math skills as they count and write the total number of objects. Each page features high-frequency words written in easy-to-read lettering. Can be used as an informal assessment, as a center, as an introduction to homework (for kindergarteners), or as morning work.
Includes 25 pages. X is not included because the initial sound X makes a Z sound. X as in "box" can be found in the "Alphabet Sound - Count and Color [Lowercase]" resource.
All vowels are pictured with short-vowel sounds. Long vowel sounds can be found in the "Alphabet Sound - Count and Color [Lowercase]" resource.
Teaching blends and digraphs? See my "Alphabet Sound - Count and Color [Blends and Digraphs]" resource!
*Note: If your curriculum uses specific objects for each letter (ex: T like in Tiger), please contact me with the curriculum name and list of 26 sounds. I will create clip art to pair with your curriculum that doesn't impose on copyright and post the resource for you.
