Here are a set of alphabet strips that can be used in a multitude of ways. They come in black polka dot, blue polka dot or green polka dot borders. Strips include letters and pictures in order, letters and pictures out of order, and pictures but no letters out of order. Simply print what you want, cut apart, and laminate. You can even punch a hole in the corner and put them on a ring.
*ABC flash card strips – Put on a ring. Great to practice during transition times.
*Literacy Centers – Write each letter of the alphabet on a clothespin. Students have to match the letter clothespin to the picture on the strip. Or put the strip on a cookie sheet and students have to find the matching magnetic letter to go underneath each picture.
*Guided Reading Groups – Use with your letter work time and have the students read each letter and/or sound and say the picture name aloud.
The possibilities really are endless.
