Description

Finding class time for your students to review the skills you teach them each day can be challenging! These Three Piece Puzzle Alphabet Center Games are perfect for your reading centers for independent review, or your small group time, for a guided teacher review! This is some of the cutest clip art I've ever bought! You will love the graphics in this center!

My students LOVED Puzzle Centers and your students will too! You will love how easy it is to prepare this Three Piece Puzzle Alphabet Literacy Center for your class, as all pieces are square and easy for you or a parent volunteer to cut on a paper slicer. You can play it with your whole class, by placing it in your literacy work stations. In small group lessons you can give each student three to four cards and everyone is involved! Keep your students alert and on their toes with this cute little alphabet center.

There are multiple ways to use these centers, here are a few of my favorites!

* This is a great center for Read the Room, tape up the words around your room and the students use the pictures to match! OR Tape up the pictures around the room and the students need to match the word, or match the letter, or BOTH :) match the letter and the word to the pictures! So many ways to level this center for your students' different abilities!

* Playing independently or in pairs, the students match up three pieces, the letter, printed in both uppercase and lowercase, to the word card, to the matching picture card.

* However, you can differentiate this puzzle by having the students only match up two card pieces. The students can matching up the picture cards to the letter cards only. They can match up the picture card to the word card for your more advanced students.

* Concentration is another fun way to play with this center. You can have the students match all three cards or you sort them ahead of time so that they only must match two cards, letter cards to picture cards, letter cards to word cards, or picture cards to word cards. Four MORE fun ways to play!
