The Alphabet Tracing Cards offer children a fun and easy way to practice their alphabet skills. The set features 26 cards that help reinforce uppercase and lowercase letter recognition and reading readiness skills.
* A dot is included on each letter to help children learn where to position their pencil when forming a letter. Arrows are included to help guide which direction to proceed along.
Print and laminate each letter card and use to help children recognize uppercase letters or to learn beginning sounds. Trace each letter and learn to form the letter using objects around school or home. Use a dry erase utensil to trace each uppercase or lowercase letter (following the arrows)! Children are more willing to try when they know mistakes can easily be wiped away!
Another fun way to use these cards is with objects like play doh, fun foam, pipe cleaners, Wiki sticks, beads, cheerios, beans, legos or any other maneuverable object that your child can use to create the form of each letter. Roll out some play doh and have your child follow the arrows to form each letter, encouraging a new way of looking at the uppercase and lowercase alphabet that will eventually lead to memorization of each form.
These tracing cards give children a fun and easy way to practice important skills. We also offer handwriting titles encompassing preschool to grade 12, each title focuses on print or cursive handwriting from letter formation, word formation, sentence formation to free writing.
**Once laminated these cards can be used with a washable crayon or dry erase marker. Size 8.5x11
