These alphabet wheels are designed to give your students fine motor practice (cutting, coloring, and printing) while they learn beginning phonics and alphabet skills.
This product can also be purchased as part of a money-saving bundle!
To use the alphabet wheels, have the children color the pictures, practice printing the letters, and then cut the two circles out. Most young children will need help fastening the two circles together with a brass fastener. When the alphabet wheel is assembled, the student holds the front circle in place with her thumb and pointer finger while turning the back circle with the other hand. In this way, the child can read each section of the alphabet wheel! This product fosters confidence as children practice one-to-one correspondence and initial letter sounds!
Also included is a handwriting practice page for each letter of the alphabet to coordinate with the alphabet wheels.
This set includes 26 printable “Alphabet Wheels” pages and 26 coordinating handwriting practice pages.
