(letters x, y and z have 2 pictures to identify) Please download the preview for further details and photo explanations.
Cut, Paste, Punch! - This activity is designed to support the skill development in Beginning Sound Match. There are 26 individual pages (one for each letter of the alphabet) and all pages are black and white. Students are required to follow these steps to complete the activity…
Cut – students cut off the bottom section and find the pictures that match the beginning sound of the main picture
Paste – students paste the pictures onto the empty picture squares. There are three pictures to paste for each letter (except for x, y and z– they have 2 pictures only)
Punch – students use a hole punch to find all the matching letters around the edge of the page. Many different fonts have been used (in both upper and lower case) to help students recognize the many different ways a letter may be written.
