This game is a highly engaging way to practice uppercase and lowercase letter and sound recognition with your students. This game can be used in a literacy center or in an RTI group.
The object of this game is to collect as many cards as you can.
Each player will take a turn drawing a card. When the card is drawn, the player should attempt to say the letter name and/or sound. If the player is able to do so, then he or she may keep the card. If not, the card goes back into the pile. If a player draws a special card, he or she must follow the instructions on the card. If a player draws a BANG! Card, he or she must put all of their cards back into the pile. At the end of the game, the player with the most cards wins!
