This packet contains activities for the letter D/d. It is part of the 26 letter collection - one packet for each letter of the alphabet.

Helping our students develop Alphabetic Principle is a primary instructional goal during their Kindergarten year. This is not a program, but rather an opportunity to stop and celebrate a letter/sound when the time is right. On a pretty Spring day, you may want to enjoy highlighting Dirt, and the letter D/d. Perhaps it is career day and you have a parent that is a Doctor or a Dentist. These activities fit into your reading program in any way you want; pick and choose the activities you like and add to them with ideas of your own.

Here's to Happy Kids and Happy Teaching!
