Believe it or not, even when kids are able to recite the alphabet easily, many still struggle with visually putting words in alphabetical order without going through the entire alphabet.
This set includes 3 levels of cards- K includes picture cues to help with letter sounds, 1st is still separated in the chart but only has the letter, 2nd has the alphabet in a single line. Show your students how to use the card to find where their words should be placed.
You can do this activity with the Word List page included (just write down your spelling/vocabulary/sight words on the page and you can change it each week!) or with word cards in a pocket chart.
As students order their words (or after if using a pocket chart) have them right them down on the included page. Again, 3 levels included- K 8 word handwriting lines, 1st 10 word large spaced lines, 2nd 15 word small spaced lines.
