Description

In this creative project, students will write a short story from the point of view of another character in or related to the story. Students will have to decide what details from the text their narrator will know. They will also work to model the style and mood of the original text. There will be some element of retelling, but also includes opportunity for creativity.

Students will write a short story from an alternate view point. They must include accurate details from the text and show consideration for the alternate view point character’s knowledge, perceptions, and feelings. The alternate view point character may be teacher-assigned or student-selected.
