Product Description
In order to motivate my junior high class of struggling readers to read on their own, I have incorporated several different types of activities for book reports. They seem to be more motivated when they have a choice of the activity. I often provide the students a list to choose from and then give them the specific rubrics and directions. Included in this download is a rubric and directions for several different types of book reports. Activities included are comic strip, bookmark, letter to/from a character, power point, test, timeline, diorama, final chapter, gameboard, t-shirt, paper bag, typed report, and a news story. These rubrics and directions are in a word document format so that you can modify them to fit the needs of your students and classroom. Enjoy!
