This resource includes a five page work packet that complements a viewing of Peter Shaffer's film Amadeus.
The packet includes the following:
*6 character identifications
*30 short response questions
*3 essay prompts
The packet is best completed in parts, a few questions completed each day over the course of viewing the film. Questions focus on Antonio Salieri (F. Murray Abraham) and the character's relationship with Mozart (Tom Hulce). Given the length of the film and the time needed to write each day, the lesson generally takes me one week to complete.
This lesson has been universally well-received by students. It is most appropriate for adult or high school aged students. I use this lesson in both my English and European history courses. It would be a great addition to your English, European history, or film study course.
