You can demonstrate your abilities in mind reading to determine what card a spectator chose!
Creating an algorithm is the ability to develop a step-by-step strategy for solving a problem. An algorithm is a well-defined set of instructions / actions to be taken in a given order so that the desired task is achieved, guaranteed.
The 21 Card Trick is a magical effect that computer scientists would call ‘algorithmic’. In other words it uses an algorithm to achieve the desired outcome. This workshop also highlights how we can test the outcomes to ensure that this trick will work 100% of the time.
Included in this lesson: Video performance, detailed explanation, computer science principles, learning intentions and suggested activities.
