Georgia Social Studies standards state that third-graders should study nine amazing Americans including Paul Revere, Frederick Douglass, Mary MacLeod Bethune, Susan B. Anthony, Eleanor Roosevelt, Franklin D. Roosevelt, Lyndon B. Johnson Thurgood Marshall and Cesar Chavez. This timeline provides you and your students with a study guide that covers all Nine People. These two pages include an actual timeline that allows students to see which people were contemporaries and when each person lived and a fact sheet that explains the importance of each person. This can be used as an introduction, a review before the test, or a guide to take you through the unit.
