The 'Amazing Race Canada: Inquiry Project' serves as a project-based learning resource that encourages students to build understandings of the importance of natural resources, industry, culture and traditions across Canada.
- RESOURCE HIGHLIGHTS -
In this project, students develop route information, detours and pit stops for an Amazing Race Canada episode, focusing on the ways that people use natural resources in different provinces and territories of Canada, as well as the influence of culture, traditions and values across the country.
Through their independent research, students will consider why different types of activities and products have developed in these regions.
1. Students identify a variety of important landmarks and natural resources in Canadian provinces and territories.
2. Students apply their knowledge of the key features of a province or territory to develop meaningful activities and challenges for Amazing Race teams to complete in their given region.
