Study the architecture of American homes with this guidebook. Students learn architectural terms and the characteristics of ten American home styles, from colonial to modern, in this handy guidebook.
Each style has a small drawing of a typical home, and a list of the usual details that can be found with the style (roof type, exterior materials, overall shape, etc.). Approximate time period of the style is also included. Graphic descriptions of architectural terms, such as roof styles and ornamentation, complete the booklet.
The guidebook is printed on standard letter size paper and folded into an 8.5"x5.5" booklet. The interior page is printed double sided, and folded to make four, detail filled pages. The cover/back page can be printed on cardstock to make it more sturdy.
