Product Description
This is a simulation to help students understand the strengths and weaknesses of the North and South, Union and Confederates, at the beginning of the United States Civil War. The simulation is designed to show students that a smaller, more well organized group can be as successful as a larger, less organized group. These factors, in addition to preparedness, motivation, and leadership caused the Union to suffer many defeats early in the war. It is a fun simulation that includes notes for discussion, all handouts required, and also a student reflection. The powerpoint requires little or no copying, saving you time and money. Enjoy and happy history! Penny Wood
