American Colonies 3-Week COMPLETE UNIT (Part 1): This unit includes EVERYTHING you need for an entire American Colonies unit. It includes 3 weeks of formal lesson plans (no prep print) with options to extend or shorten the length of the unit, original differentiated reading passages on 5 different reading levels, hands-on activities, simulations, guided notes, center rotations, informal assessment ideas, enrichment ideas, study guide, final assessment, and so much more.

TWO PARTS: This unit is PART 1 of two unit plans covering Colonial America.
This unit plan can stand completely on its own without you needing to purchase the other part. See below for a breakdown of how the 2 parts differ in the material they cover.
• PART 1 focuses on establishing the colonies, how/why they were founded, colonial government, colonial religion, Triangular Trade, the Middle Passage, and slavery.
• PART 2 is simulation-based and focuses on daily life in the colonies: homes, clothing, food, farming, church life/superstition, medicine, schools, town market, artisans/trades, roles of women/men/children.
