Product Description

American English vs British English is a series of crossword puzzles that teach you the other style of English from the one that you use, and for those of you just learning English, it will teach you some of the differences in vocabulary and spelling. The Irish writer George Bernard Shaw once said: 'England and America are two countries

divided by a common language'. These crossword puzzles are meant to help those who use one version understand those who use the other version.

For English classes, it’s a fun activity for emergency plans or when you just need a relaxed day. For social studies classes, it demonstrates the differences between nations that are perceived by many to be almost alike. Finally, for ESOL classes, it exposes those learning English for the first time to the fact that there is more than one form of English and that these two are the most universally recognized.
