Are you studying the the formation of American Government? Maybe you are finishing up the American Revolution and transitioning into how the US Government was formed. This list of words is a great way to get your kids talking. Your students will enjoy this fun themed word search!! If your students are like mine, they love these.
In this word search puzzle, words are found forward, backward, up, down, and diagonal. I would consider it on the challenging side since students are looking for words in all directions, and the content may be more suitable for upper elementary and early middle school. Please see the list of words below.
I use word searches to introduce vocabulary, or even just give it as morning work. They are also great to glue in writing notebooks for future writing topics. Perfect for a sub, too. Have your students further explain some of the words, use them in a sentence, or use them as a guide to write a paragraph. Maybe they could illustrate some. How about homework or even to trigger their memory before state testing or a unit test. Use this US Government word search however you would like in your classroom.
