This is a three part unit by Reading Through History detailing the history of organized labor in America. It includes three separate lessons that cover the history of the Labor Day holiday, International Workers' Day, and the history of organized labor in the United States. Haymarket Square and the Pullman Strike are also described in the readings. For each lesson there are twelve student summary questions, 10 guided reading questions, five reading comprehension questions, and five true and false questions. There is also a history word builder vocabulary activity to wrap up the unit.
