Looking for resources about American popular music? What about for students to be able to comprehend how music reflects the times? This set will introduce your students to the music that was popular during the 1920’s. You will receive a PowerPoint (with fully editable links so you can change them as needed), 1 presentation in pdf form (non-editable links), 2 separate worksheets, 9 different exit tickets, 2 listening glyphs (2 versions of each), 6 graphic organizers and a workstation sign. You will also receive for FREE a 5 page pdf with a download link to a set of 1920's digital task cards (20) on the Boom Learning platform as well as helpful video links all about Boom. YouTube links (also via Safe Share which means no commercials) are included so your students can listen (and sometimes actually watch) the performer who made a song popular. You can use this as a large group lesson or split your students into groups to learn about different decades via workstations.
