These listening glyphs are great for your American popular music studies or unit and are already included in my American Popular sets. However, if you already have resources to use and just want to add this component they are now available. The glyphs are designed so you can use ANY song (and ANY performer) that was popular during one of the decades included in this set (1920's-1990's). Students are only asked to listen for 3-4 components (choices typically include: instrumental vs vocal, male vs female vocals, tempo, choice of genre/style that was popular during that decade and/or whether or not a student liked the song). You will receive 2 different pictures representing the following decades (1920's, 1930's, 1940's, 1950's, 1970's, 1980's and 1990's) and 4 different pictures for the 1960's.
You can use this as a large group lesson or split your students into groups to learn about different decades via workstations or songs.
