Product Description
Engage your students in a creative, multidisciplinary processing activity.

Students will first compare and contrast the experiences and perspectives of a British Soldier and an American soldier during the American Revolution. They will then develop these facts into poems, written from two angles to compare, contrast, analyze and process their understanding.

This resource can be used to process a reading, textbook chapter, video, or as an end of the unit assessment.

Student handout with directions included.

Activities include:
1. Time to brainstorm factual information about each sides experience during the
American Revolution
2.Time to develop facts into a poem
3.Time to practice and perform their poems

For this reason, I recommend this as a two-day activity or a cross-disciplinary English/Social Studies activity.
