American Revolution I Have...Who Has? Game:
This is a whole class review game of key concepts, events, terms, and names from the American Revolution. This game has 28 playing cards. Have fun and happy teaching!
Each card will have an answer on the top and a question on the bottom. Students must listen carefully for the question that matches their answer. When they hear it, they will read their card. The person with the “Start” card begins. This continues until the last student reads “Finished”.
Who’s Your Signer of the Declaration of Independence:
For this project, your learners will choose a signer of the Declaration of Independence and research them through the aid of non-fiction texts. They will take notes on a provided graphic organizer with the support of specific headings on information needed to include on the resume for their chosen signer. Each student will also illustrate their signer and attempt to recreate their signer’s signature. This will be glued to a file folder. This file folder also comes in handy to store all of your students’ American Revolution notes, projects, and tests once they receive their graded project back.
